"Secrets of the Whales" doc, featuring and produced by Brian Skerry, wins Emmy Award!

Congratulations to Changemaker Talent speaker Brian Skerry and Executive Producer James Cameron for their Emmy win! "Secrets of the Whales" took home TV's top honor yesterday in the Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series category. The series—produced by National Geographic and streamed on Disney+—takes viewers deep inside whale culture to reveal the complex communication skills and intricate social structures of five different whale species: orcas, humpbacks, belugas, narwhals and sperm whales. James Cameron and his production crew followed Brian underwater for more than three years, in 24 locations, to reveal the magical and mostly hidden world of whales.
